ADA Compliant Kayak/Canoe Launch & Fishing Dock

The Ohio River Trail Council (ORTC) is planning to expand the amenities along the Ohio River Water Trail. Identified as one of the nations’ top paddling trails, it has become a popular area for a quiet float or fishing from a kayak or canoe. The ORTC is creating a destination point for people of all ages and ability levels to easily and safely access the water. The Ohio River Trail Council welcomes anglers, paddlers, canoeists, kayakers, and stand up paddle boarders to enjoy the water for fun, relaxation and adventure! 

The ORTC is preparing to install an Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Kayak/Canoe Launch with a Handicap Transfer Station and a wheelchair accessible Fishing Dock improving access for elderly and disabled American citizens.
